Welcome to all who are here as part of Tina's 25 days of giveaways. I have finally had the foresight to get this posted in early enough for those living half a day ahead of me to participate on the right day, and I will be leaving it open until 7:00 a.m. (EST on 12/15/11) for the benefit of those living several hours behind me.
Although I haven't been able to participate in each day of this year's giveaways, I want to thank Tina for coordinating this awesome event again this year. It is a little bright light to look forward to during a time that can be so bittersweet. I have participated for the last two years, and each year I have struggled to find the right item to give away. Two years ago, I gave a hand-made angel stocking that Betty so graciously waited very patiently for. Last year I thought I had found the perfect gift in the form of an angelversary garden flag, but when the flags arrived, I was so disappointed with the quality. So, what to give this year???
Two years ago, my husband and I decided that we would find a few new Gracie ornaments for our Christmas tree each year. This will be our third year for this tradition, and I suspect that it will get a bit more difficult each year, as I have had a difficult time limiting myself to just one or two per year. Last year, one of the ornaments that I purchased was a hand-made bead sprout angel ornament that has wings and Gracie's name and date of birth on the back. I love this ornament so much that I have decided to give one for this year's giveaway. The winner will receive a baby in pink blanket if their angel is a little girl, and a blue blanket if their angel is a little boy. If your angels were multiples, I will do my very, very best to send one of the appropriate color for each angel (if a mama of multiples wins, it might be closer to next Christmas until I am able to send both, simply because of the 'production' schedule of the wonderful woman who makes these.). I know that there are few of you who already have one of these ornaments; if the winner happens to already have one, I will find a replacement ornament for you.
To enter, please leave a comment below and tell me your angel's name and date of birth. Please also tell me what holiday traditions you and your family have established or fallen into to remember your angel(s).
***** I did this post ahead of time and scheduled it to be automatically posted by blogger. I just discovered that the last 1/4 of it is missing and never posted. So here is the rest of it for those who have not visited yet...I suppose it will just be a surprise to those who have already been here!!
One additional winner will receive a Pampered Chef calendar raffle ticket for February 2012. This is a fund raiser that we are doing for our March for Babies team. For more information on the raffle (and information about how to purchase a ticket if you don't win one), please visit our Team Graciebelle blog.

Love this Susan! Thanks so much for participating again! You know my girls, Sophia and Ellie 4-25-09.
Every year, we put up a tree just for them. We also hang their stocking with the rest of ours. I also write a letter to them every year and put it in their stocking. No one reads it, but me, but I like having one place this time of year that I can keep a little piece of my heart. xx
This is so beautiful, Susan. Our baby gone too soon is George. He was born into eternal life on May 19, 2009. We have a little stocking for George that was sent to me by Mackenzie's mummy (another blm) and my older children hang his stocking alongside theirs. We have some special ornaments in his memory. As they get older, and his new younger sister gets older, I'd like to get the children to do something charitable in his memory. How else can you a gift to someone in heaven really? (((Hugs)))
Oh, too too gorgeous.
We hang a bauble with her name and other various ornaments and angels we were given that very first Christmas to remember our daughter. We also buy gifts in her name for a local charity gift association, one from each of my other children. Talking about the importance of giving to those who have less as well as remembering our girl.

Thank you for hosting this giveaway Susan. This ornament is just adorable! My angel's name is Laken and she was born sleeping on April 08, 2010. This is our 2nd Christmas as an angel parent. We tend to celebrate Christmas for Laken by Buying her a new ornament each year in her memory. We also buy gifts for her grave and decorate her special spot. Also in her memory we think of other baby lost parents and reach out to them especially new mothers entering the baby lost community.

Alexcyn Grace July 18 -21, 2008
We remember our girls by putting up special ornaments on the tree and putting gifts at their grave.
Adorable! Chloe Shannon - December 10th 2009. Each year we try and add an ornament to our tree that reminds us in some way of her. Just like we would have done if she were here with us.
My angel's name is Dylan (6/11/08), and we have the same tradition to remember Dylan at Christmas. We buy a new ornament for the tree every year, if I can limit myself to one! :)
thanks for the giveaway!

What a sweet ornament! I would love one for Drew.
I'm missing my angel, Drew who was stillborn on 6/30/2010.
To remember him, we have stockings and ornaments and decorations for the cemetery, but this year we also "adopted" a little boy his age and bought Christmas presents. Very hard to do, but also very wonderful.
That is so darling!
My son Beckett died when he was 4 months old from SIDS april 7 - Aug 9, 2010
We celebrate his life at every holiday in some way, during Christmas we write letter to him and place them in his stocking.
That is beautiful! My angels name is Sienna and she was born still on Sept. 15, 2010. We get an ornament for her each Christmas.
How cute! My baby Pierce died at 2 months old on July 12, 2011. We haven't really estab. any Christmas traditions yet as it is the first year and things are still so fresh.
Beautiful. My boy Parker died at just barely 2 days old Sept. 21-23, 2009. We write a letter to him every Christmas Eve and send it up to him via balloon at his gravesite Christmas Morning.
This is so beautiful! I have two angels. Shyla Joy was stillborn 9/2/09 and Jakin Isaac was stillborn 11/24/10. We always decorate their stones and we do random acts of kindness in their memory and ask our families to do the same. We also have special ornaments for both of them that we always hang on our tree. We visit the cemetery on Christmas morning as well.
You know me but I'll go through the motions :)
My angel's name is Lily and she was born sleeping on 8/3/08. I'm actually starting a new tradition for Lily, or more specifically, Lilybear, the little bear that the hospital gave us when Lily died. We're taking Cooper to Se.ars to take Christmas pics and I bought some Christmas ribbon so that LB will match her little brother :)
I love the ornament! So cute!!
My angel is Sydney and she was born at 20 weeks on 2/10/09 and passed away after 2 hours in our arms. Our big Christmas tradition is to pick a little girl who is the same age Sydney would've been and wouldn't otherwise have Christmas, and buy presents for her. This year, we also included a stuffed elephant, which was Sydney's first Christmas gift when I was pregnant with her, in our family Christmas portrait.
This is beautiful - thanks for hosting!!
As you know, I am remembering Acacia. She was born on 9/25/09 and died on 9/28/09. I buy a Christmas ornament for her each year, and while it's not limited to Christmas time, I light a candle in her memory.
And on a side note - this year I am looking forward to hanging up the VERY first ornament Allie ever received. :) Thanks!
Love to you and yours!
Hey lovely lady...what a delightful giveaway! Thank you. I am remembering and always thinking about my little Kennedy Kate 10/22/09. My most important tradition I do in honor of Kenedy is selecting two little girls in need tat are the same age as Kennedy would be. It makes my heart full oing this each year. Sending lots of hugs to you this holiday season.
Our angel is River born 04/30/2009 and passed away 05/06/2009. We usually make an ornament, buy dinner for someone at a restaurant and a book for the children's part of the library in our town.
This is a beautiful giveaway. Thank you so much for participating.
I have these ornaments and love them :)
I actually and getting a few from Allison for some friends. So please don't enter me!
