#47 - WEEKLY LIST

I haven't had a whole lot to say over the last couple of weeks.  Not to say that I haven't had lots on my mind - I just don't have a whole lot to say that hasn't already been said here.  I've been sick over the last few days, and I'm starting to go a little stir crazy, so I thought that I would post a few of the quotes that have been helpful to me in the form of a weekly list.
  • The risk of love is loss, and the price of loss is grief; but the pain of grief is only a shadow when compared with the pain of never risking love.    ~ Hilary Stanton Zunin
  • He that conceals his grief finds no remedy for it.   ~ Turkish proverb
  • What lies ahead of us and what lies behind us are small matters compared to what lies within us.   ~ Henry David Thoreau
  • It doesn't matter how tough we are, trauma always leaves a scar.  It follows us home, it changes our lives.  Trauma messes everybody up, but maybe that is the point of all the pain, the fear and the crap.  Maybe going through all that is what keeps us moving forward.  It's what pushes us.  Maybe we need to get a little messed up before we can step up.             ~ Grey's Anatomy
  • If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together, there is something you must always remember.  You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think; but the most important thing is, even if we're apart, I'll always be with you.    ~ Winnie the Pooh
  • Sadness is just love wasted, with no little heart to place it inside.   ~ Craig Cardiff

Hope you're feeling better again soon... I like your quotes... I've found alot that have really resonated with me in these past months, too. Knowing that others have lived through hardships and have gained wisdom from their experiences certainly does shed a small glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.

Thank you so much for sharing those quotes... I absolutely love the Winnie the Pooh one and hope you don't mind if I put it on my blog... I've always loved Winnie the Pooh and it is very fitting to what we've gone through.

I know exactly what you mean. In fact, this morning I sort of blogged about this very thing - how do we find new ways to express this pain? After a point, it seems there is not much more to say, even though the pain still rages within.
